Domestic Violence Awareness & Prevention Month

October 9, 2025
Central Park of Maple Grove, Phenow Pavilion, 12000 Central Park Way

Memory Lane: 5:00 PM

Memory Lane honors over 150 Minnesota lives lost to domestic violence since 2020. As you stroll through, each life is celebrated with a beautiful sign, their name, and a special memory.

Program: 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Join us indoors for uplifting music, words from Maria’s Voice, education from Bold Voices, and a keynote address.

The program concludes with a vigil and rose placement, where we honor the most recent Minnesota lives lost due to domestic violence. Sadly, more than 27 names will be read, and roses will be placed by our community.

4th Annual Community Tribute,
Domestic Violence Awareness Month

On October 5, 2023 we gathered the community to honor 103 lives taken by Domestic Violence in MN since 2020. Memory Lane honored them with compassion and joy, highlighting the uniqueness of everyone taken from their families. Speakers from the faith community, the city, a local business, a family, and the medical community spoke on how we must join the Prevention message. Uplifting live music moved our hearts and souls! Streamed live on Facebook, more than 1,000 people joined to support domestic violence prevention. Thank you to volunteers and everyone who, despite the weather, acknowledged the loss our communities endure.
